first dinner in our new home

IMG_0859So, we arrived in our new town of Targu Neamt on Sunday evening.  By the time we hauled our stuff up three flights of stairs, met the landlord, talked about bills, inventoried the apartment, noted the numbers on the meters, and figured out how to operate the stove, the hot water, the lights, it felt like it was midnight.  But it was only 8PM and we were starving.  So we ventured out into our new town to find something tasty.  And NOTHING was open.  Sunday nights in a small town.  We found a little magazin mixt but it only had junk food.  So alas, it was to be junk food dinner.  In the midst of my Cheesy Bond Popcorn and David’s 7-Day Max Croissant, we happened upon a marvelous taste sensation.  Emmentaler cheese with Paprika potato chips.  Note David’s glee as he prepares to take a bite.
